Our team has firsthand experience as Merchants, Product Development Merchants, Inventory & Supply Chain experts, Sales Leaders, and Manufacturing Managers in both the U.S and in Asia.


Now, we partner directly with world class manufacturers and have a presence in Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit with overseas team members in India and The Philippines.

  • Kevin Vayda

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Kevin is a Merchandising and Global Sourcing leader with over 12 years of experience working for big box/online retailers, MRO distributors & manufacturers. Kevin followed his passion for building businesses and established Bellwether-Pacific in 2019.

    Kevin has developed Private Label programs for major retailers in plumbing, kitchen & bath, lighting, electrical, hardware, and home comfort.

    Having held various global sourcing and product development roles, Kevin has “on-the-ground” experience partnering with global manufacturers to develop programs that fit a Buyer’s merchandising strategy.

    Kevin resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Tanya Lu

    GENERAL MANAGER - YOUTH BELLWETHER HONG KONG LIMITED

    Tanya has extensive experience as a sourcing consultant, providing strategic guidance and business solutions to retailers, consultancy firms, and trading companies to drive business growth.

    She has In-depth knowledge of the international retail landscape, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.

    Tanya is responsible for leading Bellwether’s Hong Kong subsidiary, which is focused on supplier selection, quality, logistics and training. Additionally, Tanya’s team is aligned to Bellwether’s international customers in Europe and Asia.

    Tanya and her family reside in the UK.

  • Mike Nelson

    Michael Nelson

    VICE PRESIDENT - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

    Mike is an expert in Product Development and Industrial Design with over 20 years of experience working for big box retailers and distributors.

    In 2011, Mike founded The Home Depot’s Industrial Design department, which plays a key role in private label product development. After 7 years in that department, Mike left The Home Depot as their #1 patent holder in company history.

    Mike also brings to the table, a robust background in consumer research that informs all product development activities. He will lead Bellwether’s product development & design initiatives for key manufacturers selling private label products into retail.

    Mike and his family reside in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Nate Whitfield

    CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER / DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL ACCOUNTS

    Nate is a Merchandising, Global Sourcing and Sales leader with almost 10 years experience working for major retailers, MRO distributors, & manufacturers.

    He has partnered with manufacturers to develop Private Label programs for The Home Depot and HD Supply in electrical, paint & sundries, flooring, outdoor living, and plumbing.

    With a diverse background within product development, category management, and sales account management, Nate’s experience encompasses partnering with global manufacturers to develop programs that fit a merchandising strategy with the end customer in mind.

    Most recently, Nate was a National Account Manager for Hospitality and Healthcare industries at HD Supply. He now acts as a business development leader for multiple product categories.

  • Stephen Leamon

    NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

    Stephen is an entrepreneurial collaborator and connector with over 20 years of experience partnering with Shark Tank investors, big box retailers, OEMS, and independent & national distributors.

    He has worked with both start ups and seasoned businesses, in the development, marketing, and sales of consumer and commercial products.

    Stephen specializes in building lasting relationships with manufacturers and retailers alike. He is focused on making our merchants’/buyers’ lives easier by bringing them the right mix of innovative products to grow revenue and address assortment opportunities.

    Stephen and his wife reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.
